Policies

At Apex Medical Training, we are committed to providing organized, professional, and high-quality training in a safe and positive learning environment. Please review the following policies carefully before registering for a class. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.

Minimum Class Requirement

A minimum of three (3) students is required for a class to proceed. If the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, Apex Medical Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class.

Affected students will be offered the option to transfer their registration to another available class date or receive a full refund. No rescheduling fee will apply when a class is changed or cancelled by Apex Medical Training due to minimum enrollment requirements.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted by email to info@apexmedicaltraining.com.

Students may cancel their registration for a full refund or request to reschedule to another available class up to three (3) days before the scheduled class date.

A $10 rescheduling fee applies to all student-requested rescheduling requests.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests received within three (3) days of the scheduled class date are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. The full registration fee will be forfeited.

Late Arrival Policy

Students who arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be permitted to attend or participate in the remainder of the class.

Students denied entry due to late arrival are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Students are encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for parking, check-in, and class preparation.

No-Show Policy

Students who do not attend their scheduled class and have not submitted an eligible cancellation or rescheduling request will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. The full registration fee will be forfeited.

Course Eligibility & Prerequisites

Students are responsible for registering for the correct course and ensuring they meet all applicable eligibility and prerequisite requirements.

Students registering for a renewal course are responsible for ensuring they meet the applicable renewal requirements and have any required  documentation or previous certification available when requested.

Failure to meet course prerequisites or registering for an incorrect course may result in the student being unable to participate. Standard cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies will apply.

Identification & Registration Information

Students may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification at check-in.

Students are responsible for providing accurate registration information, including their full legal name and email address. Information provided during registration should accurately reflect the information required for certification purposes.

Apex Medical Training is not responsible for certification delays, communication issues, or other problems resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the student.

Student Conduct & Safety

All students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward instructors and other participants.

Disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. Apex Medical Training reserves the right to remove any student whose conduct compromises the safety, comfort, or learning environment of the class.

Students removed from a class due to misconduct or unsafe behaviour will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Illness Policy

Students experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness are encouraged not to attend class to help protect the instructor and other participants.

Standard cancellation and rescheduling deadlines remain applicable. Exceptions may be considered at the sole discretion of Apex Medical Training based on the individual circumstances.

Class Cancellation & Unforeseen Circumstances

Apex Medical Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a class due to instructor illness, severe weather, facility issues, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Affected students will be offered the option to transfer their registration to another available class date or receive a full refund.

Apex Medical Training is not responsible for travel expenses, parking costs, lost wages, childcare expenses, or any other incidental or consequential costs associated with a class cancellation or schedule change.

Personal Belongings

Students are responsible for their personal belongings while attending a class.

Apex Medical Training is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property brought to the training location.

Photography & Recording

Audio recording, video recording, and photography during class are prohibited without prior authorization from Apex Medical Training.

Students may not record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share course instruction or training materials without appropriate authorization.

Privacy

Apex Medical Training may collect personal information reasonably necessary for class registration, student communication, payment administration, course delivery, record keeping, and certification processing.

Personal information will be handled responsibly and will only be used or disclosed as reasonably necessary to provide training services, process certification requirements, or comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

Agreement to Policies

By registering for a class with Apex Medical Training, you confirm that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined above.

It is the student's responsibility to review these policies before completing registration. Apex Medical Training reserves the right to update or modify its policies when necessary.
